What are you trying to achieve?
- Have you described the change you expect to see?
- What would be happening now if you had successfully implemented those things?
Why is it important and why now?
- Could you describe that change from the perspective of a new employee/current team member/customer/leader?
- How would they feel?
- What would they be experiencing?
How will we know we have been successful?
- What problem would we be solving? And what would change if we solved it?
- What would a customer now experience if they walked into our business?
- What would a new team member experience on their journey with us?
- Have you just listed tasks or things you’ve implemented?
- Describe outcomes, not the outputs
- e.g. An outcome would be "Achieving a sustainable 20% increase in production" vs an output of “Producing 10,000 units of our product”
