- Is it inspiring?
- Why should people care?
- Does it tell you what the business stands for?
- Would it attract people to your business?
- Would it attract investors/customers to your business?
Values
For each value, each leader is to consider:
- How well are you living the value? Give each a rating out of 10, with 10 being I am the perfect role model!
- Remember, as leaders you must be role models for the culture you want.
- Provide examples of how you demonstrated the value over the past year.
- Have you had any challenges in living the value?
- Name some examples of people in the business who exemplify the value.
- Highlight any discrepancies you have seen between stated values and actual behaviour.
- Are there any systems or symbols in the business that are in opposition to our values?
