If you wish to invite an external stakeholder (e.g. potential employee, shareholder or investor) to your embedADAPT organisation, then the following steps should assist.
From the Configuration cog, click on "Manage People". From the screen which appears on the right, click "Add People" from the top right-hand corner.
In this dialog:
- Enter the required details for the person (First name, last name and email).
- Set the type of person (employee or stakeholder)
- Set type of access you wish to grant (leader, collaborator, viewer, none)
- Set if this user can log in or not. If you leave this button unticked they will be visible within embedADAPT, but will not be able to log in
What happens next?
If you have ticked the login button, the new stakeholder will receive a welcome email which will enable them to activate and personalise their account.
If you have left the login button unticked, the stakeholder will be added to the organisation but will not receive the welcome email or have access to embedADAPT until you activate them.
if you have added them as an employee, they will appear in the 'Employee Directory'. If you have added them as a stakeholder, then they will appear in the 'External Stakeholder Directory'.
