You can configure OpenAi's ChatGPT desktop app to connect to your Lumia instance. This gives you the ability to query Lumia in a familiar interface with the model of your choice, with the ability to integrate this with all your other systems you have configured for use with ChatGPT.
Download the ChatGPT app from here: https://chatgpt.com/download/. Once installed follow these instructions:
Open up the settings dialog
Add a plugin
Lumia and ChatGPT connect via a protocol called MCP. ChatGPT calls this a ‘plugin’.
Fill in the details for the connection.
- Choose a name that make sense for you
- The URL required is https://api.thedaptway.com/mcp
Confirm the permissions.
The defaults as shown should be fine.

Complete Authentication
After pressing ‘Connect’, you will be asked to authenticate. A browser tab will open with instructions on how to complete the process.

Verify connector installation successful
When the process is complete, ChatGPT will show you the Plugins page. You should be able click on your Lumia server and see the details you have entered.
There are settings there you can change (or uninstall the plugin) as well as temporarily disable the plugin.
